A security guard has been arraigned before court and charged over the rape, murder and robbery of tiktoker, Diana Namulinde, popularly known as Diana Skyz.
Marvin Webisa, 22, a security guard attached to Gideon Security system and a resident of Kiwatule zone , Nakawa Division in Kampala District was on Thursday afternoon arraigned before City Hall Senior Principal grade one magistrate, Nicholas Aisu and charges read against him.
Prosecution led by senior state attorney, Ms Mercy Yamangusho Khaidarah told court that on February, 4, 2026 at Kyanja Kwata Zone, the security guard had canal knowledge of Diana Namulinde without her consent contrary to section 110 and 111 of the Penal Code Act.
He was also charged with murder contrary to section 171 and 172 of the Penal Code Act as well as aggravated robbery contrary to section 266 and 267(2) of the Penal Code Act when he robbed phones, power bank, airpods, suit case, bag, and shs18.6million belonging to the deceased.
The accused however didn’t take plea since the matter is grave in nature and can only be tried by the High Court.
The prosecution told court investigations into the matter are still ongoing and was remanded to Luzira until March, 3 for mention of the case.
